The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), a UK prosecuting agency, released the decision today after reviewing a file sent to them by the Metropolitan Police for more than a year.
“The CPS has acknowledged the criminal charges against 62-year-old Kevin Spacey for four counts of sexual assault against three men,” said Rosemary Einsley, head of the CPS Special Crimes Unit.
“He has also been charged with intruding on a person and engaging in sexual activity without permission.
“The Crown Prosecution Service reminds all concerned that criminal proceedings against Mr Spacey are ongoing and that he has a right to a fair trial.”
