Model Kate Moss took the position from the UK to testify as Depp’s witness on Wednesday at the defamation trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

Moss testified for less than three minutes, stating that he had a romantic relationship with Depp from 1994 to 1998. Depp’s team called him a cross – examination in response to Heard’s testimony. She and her sister Whitney Heard Henriques pushed Moses into an argument with Depp near a staircase.

“He went to Whitney and heard a rumor, a vague rumor about it,” Heard testified on May 17.

On Wednesday, Moss testified under oath that the rumor was false – that the couple had gone to Jamaica during their relationship at the time and that at one point during the trip, it rained and Moss fell down the stairs and injured his back.

“We were leaving the room. Johnny left the room before I could do it, where it was raining. When I left the room I slipped on the stairs and injured my back,” Moss said. “I screamed because I did not know what had happened. I was in pain. He ran to help me and took me to my room for medical help.”

Depp’s lawyer Moss asked if Depp had ever been pushed down the stairs during their relationship.

“No. He never pushed or kicked me or threw me down any stairs,” Moss testified.

Moss was not cross-examined by Heard’s legal team.

Depp has sued Heard for $ 50 million in a 2018 Washington Post poll claiming that the actor slandered himself and thus lost his job. Hert sued Depp for $ 100 million, claiming that his lawyer “lied” about Depp’s abuse allegations, defaming him and losing his job.

The trial is set to begin in mid-April in Virginia. The final arguments in the case are expected to take place on Friday.
